Randolph Field ISD Food Service’s goal is to provide appetizing and nutritious meals while keeping students and staff safe by minimizing potential health risks. In an effort to meet this goal and to mitigate any negative consequences RFISD Food Services will put in place the following practices and procedures:

• • Visitors will not be permitted in the cafeteria during meal times.
  • RFISD Food Service will prepare and offer grab and go meals for students
  • students have the choice to bring lunch.
  • All, parents and students will have the opportunity to order breakfast and lunch in advance, using Nutrislice mobile ordering app.
  • Pre-payments are encouraged to limit the exchange of currency and coins; visit My School Bucks.com
  • RFISD Food Service will offer curbside breakfast and lunch meal pick up for students during remote learning at a central location.
  • Physical distancing will be enforced in the cafeteria where appropriate for the safety of students and school staff.
  • All Food Service staff are required to wear facial coverings at all times during the work hours except when eating at designated break times.
  • RFISD Food Service staff will be required to follow the RFISD daily screening procedures.
  • Food Service kitchens are cleaned and sanitized using products that are acceptable for food safety and food safety guidelines for the prevention of the spread COVID-19.
  • Serving lines and cafeteria will be sanitized between services.
  • Students entering the serving line will need to maintain safe distancing from each other. The serving line will have markers in place.
  • Lunch schedule be created to minimize number of people in cafeteria or other designated eating areas for social distancing.
  • Food Service employees will participate in an in-service to learn new guidelines for health and sanitation.
  • Students will be issued a cafeteria ID card with a bar code. Keypad will be used only to scan cafeteria accounts.
