Elementary Associate Principal
Randolph Elementary School Associate Principal, Christin Spears, is in her fourteenth year in public education, eight of which have been as a campus administrator at RFISD.
Mrs. Spears received both her Bachelor of Science in EC-6 Education and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and chose to become an educator because she wanted to impact students the way her teachers impacted her.
She had teachers who did more than teach her--they supported her through challenges in her personal life, encouraged her to take risks, and helped mold her into who she is today. As an educator, she strives to have that same influence on her students.
Prior to joining the Randolph team, Mrs. Spears worked in Corpus Christi ISD as a substitute, paraprofessional, and teacher and in Judson ISD as a teacher and instructional coach. She is especially proud of the fact that she worked her way up the education system. From her time as a substitute all the way to her role as a campus administrator, her journey has been a fun one, filled with a lot of hard work, amazing people, and experiences that she will forever be thankful for.
Mrs. Spears’ favorite part of working at Randolph is our kids. She also loves that we have a community that wants to be involved and takes pride in their schools.
Outside of work, Mrs. Spears enjoys reading, sewing, and other arts/crafts, and she is currently training for a half marathon. She is an active member of her church, where she participates in Bible study and serves as a Vacation Bible School volunteer, and she also serves on the City of Converse Parks and Recreation Commission. In addition to her many hobbies, her four children keep her busy attending their various games, track meets, and theatre rehearsals. She and her family also love traveling and seeing new places.
