Secondary Assistant Principal
Heather O’Donley, Randolph Secondary Schools Assistant Principal, began her career in education nine years ago and has been at Randolph for six of those years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University in Sacramento and her Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific.
Mrs. O’Donley knew from an early age that education provides a road to opening up the world of possibilities to young people, and she became an educator because she wanted to play a part in that process. She loves her job and is most proud that her work in education affects good change in the lives of her students.
During her years in the classroom, Mrs. O’Donley taught a number of courses, including English I, English II, Business Law, Life, and Health. She also served as a middle school volleyball, basketball, and track coach.
Her favorite thing about Randolph is the fantastic community of people who work together to make our school an exceptional place. Mrs. O’Donley loves being part of a district that is made up of people who truly care about the success of others, and she is appreciative that her own background as a proud Army daughter, Air Force wife, and Air Force mom allows her to further connect with the RFISD military community.
Outside of work, Mrs. O’Donley enjoys a long list of hobbies, including spending time with her friends and family, attending church and Bible study, reading, traveling, swimming, shopping, eating at delicious restaurants, and adventure seeking.
