A Message from Dr. Holt

Dear Randolph Field ISD Families and Community,

My family and I want to share how thrilled we are to be joining the Randolph Field community.  I am eager to start serving as your superintendent.  This district has a long tradition of service, excellence, and dedication.  I am very proud to be a part of an organization that strives to provide students with an exceptional education. Randolph Field ISD is a unique and distinctive school district.  With only a brief introduction, I can tell the people of RFISD are second to none.  My wife, Jessica, my children, and I are looking forward to this new adventure and the opportunity to be a part of this outstanding district.

Due to present circumstances, this transition will be very different from the way a new superintendent typically enters a school district.  We will, however, do our best to make this change as seamless as possible.  I know many of you have questions and concerns about how we will finish the end of this school year and begin the next.  You can rest assured that the faculty and staff of RFISD are leading the way in remote instruction and that we will continue to refine our remote instructional technique.  We will be eagerly waiting to see students in our classrooms again.

It is my desire to meet as many of you as possible.  As soon as the restrictions are lifted we will schedule times for you to interact and ask questions.  Please remember that there are open lines of communication.  Phone and email remain the best way to interact with school faculty and staff, at present.  If you have a need, please do not hesitate to contact your teacher, principal, counselor, or the central administrative office for help.  Interactions might be a little different now, but together we will make it through this challenging time.  The goal for all RFISD faculty and staff will be to provide great communication, excellent service, and a continued superior education.

Again, I am looking forward to working with you as we continue adding to the district’s many accomplishments. As a team we will find great success in our future.  I am fully committed to providing “an environment in which students engage in meaningful learning”, encouraging the schools to “exhibit a culture where positive character development is valued within our school community”, and to help RFISD to “be a community where positive, respectful relationships are valued.”  I cannot wait to meet you in person.  Times might be difficult now, but we will adapt to these circumstances and overcome the obstacles before us.

Warmest regards,

Brian Holt, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
