Henning with new principal because rumors Synology router quickly and that way you're not everyone stays informed and transparent so here questions in the chat I'm going to read log now I'm wondering why one teacher per crate level was not assigned to check the in charge of which one student elementary teachers are being stretched very thin with having to deal with virtual in person that's a great question and is a question and we they were we really felt it was in the Centris to have all the teachers working together to make sure you're very busy and making sure that whatever child teacher's classroom that they're getting the same grade education and we know the power is in our team and so we decided to have all of our team online platform and I have the feedback that I received is that you know what we did this fall as you know is very different than what we did this spring and we're trying to do that level of rigor that we offer in the classroom to do online play it challenge teachers are really working on that together it would have also been very lost sight of this while she was students going in and out so having one teacher and charge 35 online and the managing that entire platform by themselves would be very very difficult but having every person on that team contribute has worked out better for us is truly a very difficult time for teachers right now not just in our district not just in our city and our state Nation but around the world Abington Manor to promote learning st. Pete of us have classes in fractured but what I do know is I work with Incredible professional super making it doing the best I can every single day for your children next question will there be after school club we will have a few after school clubs this year we will not have the I need some clubs that we've had in the past as you know right now we're committed to keeping children in a cohort group or we bring kids together we're trying to do it outside so for example there is still going to be it's going to start this year are we serve to Club is about to launch as well McCain that's going to look a little different this year is well choir 4th and 5th grade are we serve to is for all of our students who have a parent who is deployed I know that our readers theater was looking at launching as well and National trend figure out the best way to offer that so there are some clubs in Norway or clubs don't start till the end of September or October these are all volunteer you know next question be available for the duration of the school year that's a decision has not been made I know our district has committed to a course offering remote learning for another nine weeks which is why you all have the survey that closed last week so we do have remote learning for this whole first semester a decision has not been made on the spring semester at this time I would like to know how LSD symptoms are being handled for kids don't have to leave and go through covid-19 testing each time allergies are high that would be a question that should probably actually go to our school nurse I don't have all the answers for that you know being an allergy stuff for myself I know I'm being very diligent to take my Zyrtec every morning and just to really listen to my body is this the same as  that I would have power before my Zyrtec for my Claritin so I miss you have to you know that's something that our nurse has to stay on top of nurse about to the next question covid Striker on the school website which I would jump in here real quick type the website and so people who don't know about it or if you want to say something in a second so they know what they're talking about in regards of this question so the question is indicates that the school has one positive and slow how would parents be informed of cases for The Cove at Recker at this time that one just happened so it just went up of course if it was a classroom teacher we would definitely you know notify those parents however this person was not on campus or four days there was no contact tracing that needed to act and I see that mistercrainer he also posted the link to the website where you can see the Cobra tracker and you put drag daily if you want to next question I want to extend my I want to extend my gratitude for the fridge for you Robinson Williams and first the first week after the initial kids went back for a person it was a noticeable Tropic quality however they adapted and it smells back on track thank you for that. They're like two or three times a week but we really want to make sure a kids had some access on time every day we were able to reach her goal of having to recess breaks a day as well and I'm really happy that we made those decisions to make that happen for kids next question ghost innocence you can order seconds for lunch meals yes I can order seconds for lunch meals if you do the mobile order app which you can actually win you want to meet us when you when you're creating your order it might be the easiest way to do it would you take a lunch lunch count the student if you don't submit it at that time you can ask the Eastern Kentucky or two information printed on it on the ticket answer the question next question when and how do we get a sign for drop-off pick-up just when you are picking up if you're already here and somehow we missed you just ask somebody who's out there and we'll get it out to you the next day if your children are coming back on Tuesday with us for the first time we're going to have them outside on Tuesday morning text Ben Shapiro ability to refill water bottles yes so we have several different if there is a Pre-K Kinder first grade the they have sinks in their classrooms we don't have water jugs in the hallway because one of our speech that was mean and she took action right away and shut up to the Sanderson and she ruffled up a case of water for every classroom so that those kids got their water bottles a bottle of water and grabbed the nation so you can go ahead and buy water and brands in the classroom because we don't have storage so we cannot just collect water and so that we can just buying and bring them into the classroom so if you see the Sign Up Genius and you have a few bucks to spare key Elementary School Preston goes to mr. Kia are children supposed to be sorry for the kids in the classroom do I select pickup or delivery within the nutrislice app delivery at the middle school or High School you would select pick up when are parents allowed back on campus we have not that decision yet so I mean there are a few except you know where Jimmy. But it's just trying to keep them out of traffic and people on our campus you know to what really is truly required at this time to the water situation soon she says thank you so much because my middle school Runs Out each day Middle School student ones out each day I would like to say to that at the middle school we have the recent station but ptos also putting water there as well so right now we're in the process of putting cases of waters Middle School classrooms with chips have to water so thank you for all the parents by the way for donating water from money so so that allows us to do that to help our students have water during the day in this heat okay next question supposed to the day or is the teacher discretion we just encourage our children to do it I just it's really more of a comfort level I know some of our younger students you know I'm doing this kind of thing so I know I've gone out to a couple kissing like in your backpack and thank you that parents who had like she has a little baggie of clean ones and then she hadn't labeled a little baggie of to wash I thought that was precious so thank you for doing that and that little I will first grader I will fix your oldest wet right away and put her master. I think she was chewing on it and put it in her little to wash bag and then go Turtle clay mask out and put it on so organizations so they don't have to change math we're going to get it probably isn't a good idea that we would encourage you to stand do you know three or four masks and I know we already have masks and are lost and found but that's going to happen as well but we appreciate you really helping my doing that I will see how it goes as you noticed while we don't want to talk about Jay one right we don't want to talk about 12 minutes office campus things are going much better for drop-off and pick-up delays a game they are out there doing their best and trying to see if we have some more issues of course we will respond for regroup we'll see how it goes I want to give a shout out to Security Forces at this time PS4 Eastgate I'm not being open for people to go straight in the morning they are actually now rerouting that traffic around our campus and that has really helped us cuz that was first couple days with all that Eastgate traffic coming in it was where we have kids walking popping off and everything so shut up hey we can help by rerouting traffic in the morning and it's working much better I think it's a much safer environment for everybody and goes to PTO I signed up and sent image track please add me the problem is that PTO was having this year because we couldn't have a big membership events like they had in the past due to restriction that we had campers and of course he doesn't have the back to school events so we do not have the memberships like we had in the previous year so this year we're trying to half hour from the case so we send our signups to the campuses and the principles they're the ones that put them in your newsletter email Karen Sylvia Sharon and of course our Facebook page P chosen very active on Facebook to be posed also would happen if they're signing anything what's going on before we try to tell our parents and two and four if you would rely on the only on our glasses right now and she emailed to them it would be like a small so that's what right now real Tampa says they're so precious and that they allow us to do that at the other one reaching out for us, please check your newsletters and that's where people post sign up please turn the PTO so next question can you tell us a trap office so drop off for kindergarten first grade will be in a little pull out which is now you're actually going to go down if you were coming down the side of the school on Newby Street you would turn right on 4th Street at the end of our campus from TLS there's a drop-off area in that parking area can a back behind the campus to drop off areas and pick up areas is there may be a way to put them on your there was a man it was sent home to parents three weeks ago in a we can resend the parents is there a better way to community with teachers rather than text via seesaw bloom in person is preferred by dead can possibly right now and the meaning and communication is lost sometimes and translation when instant messaging absolutely that can definitely happen but she will more Sunny just short little bits of information yes all teachers still have a classroom phone call them leave him a message saying not going to answer when students construction most likely however you can leave a message you know for the teachers and they will call you back during their conference. Or after school next question is there still an opportunity to purchase Spirit Gear yes it's going to be later in the fall early winter will be going to open it up again for everyone to order where do we park for parent pick-up happiness Friday to cobit also route for the pickup or can we park and walk in the school and wait for our children alright so yes no and yes and no okay so here it is no parking is at a premium on our campus right now of course for those of you who is our fourth and fifth grade over by right now so we have work try to work with the housing office they were they got a little upset with us using their spots so we're asking parents to park to pick up their children to park over at Heritage Park and it's good for you and walk-in iPad to go ahead and check the where to pick up your child and then once released from the classroom to come to the gate picking up your Pre-K Kinder first phase you're going to come to the gate by The Early Childhood Center for our second and fifth encourage you to just stay in your car and there's a double line on the back of a campus house of course children are still allowed to walk so we move that that used to be by our playground by the little place cape on by PLS or riding their bikes and then they go up and then they cross over I think I may answer dolls of the next question which was I have one shot in first one in four can they both be dropped off and picked up at the same location absolutely I would encourage you to use the first grade drop off in the morning just cuz that's less walking for your first grader and your fourth grader that's still a very easy walk for them for picking up I would recommend because it's because of your first grader I would recommend just following the first pay procedure and having them beat you at the Early Childhood Center parking at the Heritage Park and walking up to the gate could you please have a fundraiser dinner for one school at a time instead of the whole ISD I think we would get more participation with long lines and difficult now when all three schools show up at the same time and day unfortunately and the reason why is the restaurants they allow PTO like no more than once a quarter to Sanskrit others only like one year so that's why we cannot do them separately but they're usually between 4 and 8 next month is going to be at the rapid fire pizza place it's going to be all day or sonic last month was also all day all day and then wants to pick try to pack right now like five to places and if it's not like a drive-through play it's going to be an all day event at the same time because of what aspect of the uncomfortable site of place so that's why I said yeah but answer that question but thank you for supporting my next question how are teachers supposed to communicate with parents of cheeky students rlp Smith communication with a parent given how can a parent stay involved in the process and I can reach a question and then maybe because they are like a few for the first part of but the question is how are teachers supposed to communicate with parents of PT students communicate with you how they regularly communicate with all was with all with all parents so you know we have our parent-teacher conferences coming up next week Wednesday and Thursday so that would be a great opportunity you'll likely see on the report card, differentiation that is happening I'm not sure what the Alp stands for I'm talking about like an individualized learning plan I haven't heard but I'm not sure but if we are are special education plans under special ed for our kitchen how often is communication with a parent given and how can a parent stay involved in the process so you should be receiving progress on your students about every 3 weeks you know that is our board policy to have that out every 3 weeks are exactly 9 weeks district lines on that calendar are there any activities planned for Halloween or other holiday this year already gone home to parents so if you did not receive that then please call our front office and May sure that you're on the tree not getting my emails then every Friday and you may not be getting it from the best. the front office I know we're having some issues with the sender right now with that Parent Portal then they can check to make sure there's you know that when you originally put that email in that sometimes you know you might have forgotten a letter or something and we can double are you or are you so we have a have an actual we don't celebrate Halloween on our campus we do have a book character day for the Friday the 30th October 30th so students can have a copy of their book and they can be your favorite you know Fly Guy Clifford all those other characters come to life on our campus while on Friday October 30th and I would also like to Edgewood quick I mean you know we like to have fun with our children and teachers and the staff so Kikyo has also if you advance plans that are still at of course safe so we are in constant contact with the administrators to see if you know what we can help to make this happen there's going to be a socially just in Book Fairs playing and maybe I'm going to ask me if I do much time in Wix to use our BP for the elementary school and what we have planned for this month and also fond of them hey good morning we actually just put flyers in teachers boxes yesterday we have what we're calling a pack the piggies coin challenge starting the week of October 26th through the 30th and it'll be a grade level competition so basically you send your child with as many coins as you want your clear out your car or get your check under the couch it's going to be I will be setting up drop off jars during drop off drop off during drop off in the mornings only we will have man station so you just have your student drop it in their grade level jar and we will do daily total and we will give those totals doctor Hemingway and hopefully after morning announcements the next day are the grade level that brings in the most money will have a popsicle party sponsored by the PTO so we are looking forward to that and then we instead of turkey Bingo we thought of we're going to do a drive-thru raffle basket so we have started going to businesses in collecting donations for that so be on the lookout for Flyers about we're still kind of getting the details together we are hoping to have that drive-through event after school on that way you don't have to come back to campus but we will get more details out to about that soon and she yes and like I said the books are we going to have online book fair and we're going to have Edge Price Books are as well. Clifford is going to be there so the kids they still have a little experience in all because we lost our books are at the school so they still in 06 books that they can purchase so that's in the works and that's all, and and I would also like to ask in front of the door going to be used to purchase tables at the elementary schools are outside so the kids so they are able to social distance and be out there and I kept their lunch is a dimension or what are they using a salmon weigh they are actually going outside for some learning right now and so we've got different classes so we're trying to get a few more table so that we have some more air where will there be someone to take tips to class the first time licensed and nervous and don't know where to go gas absolutely you know the first day of school when we have everybody coming back we even had our superintendent or associate superintendent has some of the ladies from central office or HR director this one goes out to the sent you a message as well can you confirm that the elementary school is completely nuts praying mantis money so no one else that have nots No Honey Nut Cheerios nothing produced in the facility was not nothing we're working on that you know spell are fighting since we're still fighting see no tell her that I bring you peanut butter images of removing those kids out of that classroom to try to contain that that was one of the drawbacks about not having a cafeteria work is breeding and separate cloth to wipe it down and separate so that is a challenge we have an incredible are our lunch Personnel or doing their best they are catching what they can and really working monitoring that to keep bar to keep our kids safe at lunch I'm not in a we typically don't do a lot of field trips on the fur we are usually Pre-K Miss campus please put the contact information for PTO I don't just Facebook so I am unable to view the PTO pay also last year PPO information and Sign Up Genius events were sent via email I think once a month with Frenchy help I mean patient I volunteered together emails and send the case is no one else past but we all is well. Please contact me if you're interested and can I get that all information do send to the campus and we have two campuses to please include those and then use better like a synapse and all that but sometimes so that's when you posted on Facebook but it's also going to be send out in the newsletter so but I will make sure and I will talk to my board member that they Allstate Insurance if they send their information desk Flyers to the offices so they are able to send them out since you know. I mean many parents are not on Facebook so we need to reach you know everyone so thank you and like I said if you like to volunteer just contact me and I'm sure I will find something on the board for you that's the elementary school have a new better like the Middle School newsletter we have a game if you're not receiving my emails and please contact the front office so we can get you on the email list I sent email teachers typically send out a grade level usually sends out a weekly I mean news letter so if you're not receiving those please get in touch with your child's teacher to find out why you're not receiving that Weekly communication and if you're not receiving my email story I was spending hours making it pro because you know how that's what you do when you start talking at home well about three months what happened was I was given to my secretary to get out and she thought I was doing it and nobody noticed that they were no longer the actual School newsletter find it if we went three months without anybody actually say something that we weren't really reading it and I was spending like six to eight hours of my week putting together something that I probably didn't need to be spending my time on so we have just that way that's why we switch to the weekly email when my child has a birthday can I pray an individual snacks or pastries to celebrate the birthday Factory wrapped absolutely just bring it to the front office and we will deliver it to the bathroom for you we still want to celebrate birthdays.
