Mathematics Pentathlon is a program of interactive problem-solving games.  The program strengthens basic math concepts and skills in addition to supporting creative thinking and developing problem-solving skills. Math Pentathlon focuses on conceptual learning and integrates spatial, computational, and logical reasoning.

Destination Imagination is a volunteer-led, educational non-profit organization that teaches "21st century" skills and STEM principles to kindergarten through university level students through collaborative problem solving challenges.

Mathcounts, stylized as MATHCOUNTS, is a nationwide middle school mathematics competition held in various places in the United States. Its founding sponsors include the CNA Foundation, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

The University Interscholastic League is an organization that creates rules for and administers almost all athletic, musical, and academic contests for public primary and secondary schools in the American state of Texas. It is the largest organization of its type in the world.
Opportunities to compete at UIL exists at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels in academics, fine arts, and sports.

National History Day is non-profit organization based in College Park, Maryland that operates an annual project-based contest for students in grades 6-12. It has affiliates in all fifty states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, South Korea, China, South Asia, and Central America.

he National Geographic GeoBee is an annual geography contest sponsored by the National Geographic Society. The bee, held every year since 1989, is open to students in the fourth through eighth grades in participating schools from the United States.

Future Problem Solving Program International organizes academic competitions in which students apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to hypothetical future situations.
Chess club is also offered for Randolph Elementary students on a limited basis as an afterschool club - please ask at the front office for more information.

FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in August, FIRST LEGO League introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on.

Mensa is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. It is a non-profit organization open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised IQ or other approved intelligence test.

Members of American Mensa range in age from 2 to 106. They include engineers, homemakers, teachers, actors, athletes, students and CEOs, and they share only one trait — high intelligence. To qualify for Mensa, they scored in the top 2 percent of the general population on an accepted standardized intelligence test.

Talent Identification Program is a gifted education program based at Duke University. Founded in 1980 as one of the first pre-collegiate studies programs offered by an American university, the program aims to identify gifted middle and high school students and provide advanced educational opportunities.
