Director of Student Services
Dr. Allana Hemenway has spent twenty-two of her twenty-seven years in education at Randolph Field ISD. During her time in the district, she has served as the Randolph Secondary Schools Associate Principal, the Randolph Elementary School Principal, the Director of Federal Programs & Grants, and in her current role as the Director of Student Services.
From an early age, Dr. Hemenway loved learning and helping others. She began teaching piano when she was only twelve years old and loved teaching so much that she decided to make a career of it. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, her Master of Education from Houston Baptist University, and her Doctorate of Education from Lamar University.
Professionally, Dr. Hemenway is most proud of the fact that she was nominated for a National Principal Award and secured several grants for the district, including a playground makeover grant for Randolph Elementary School. Her favorite thing about working at Randolph is having the privilege of serving those who serve, which she has continued to do through her various roles in the district.
When she’s not working, Dr. Hemenway enjoys traveling and spending time with her Shetland Sheepdogs.
