Assistant Director of Technology

Although Assistant Director of Technology, Philip Casiano, is new to RFISD, he comes to us with fifteen years of previous experience as a secondary math and engineering teacher.

Mr. Casiano grew up in a military family and received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He became an educator because he has a passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring others to do the same.

One of the accomplishments he is most proud of during his time as a teacher is that he was able to secure a grant that provided students with robots they could code, offering them a learning opportunity they otherwise would not have had.

Although he will no longer be working in the classroom, Mr. Casiano is excited to begin a new chapter in his educational journey by supporting teachers at the district level in Randolph Field ISD.

Outside of work, Mr. Casiano enjoys geocaching with his kids and always being their number one fan!
