Director of Technology

RFISD Director of Technology, Gary Youens, joined the Randolph team in 2009, after many years of working in the IT consultancy field, both in America and England, where he was born and raised. 

After graduating from college, where he majored in physics and mathematics, Mr. Youens decided to pursue a career in technology and became a Microsoft and Cisco certified engineer. 

As his father was a Chief Petty Officer on submarines in the Royal Navy, Mr. Youens grew up as a military child and appreciates the opportunity to work in a district that serves the children of our service members.

Mr. Youens’ favorite thing about working at Randolph is being part of the military community and watching our students grow in knowledge and reasoning abilities.

Outside of work, Mr. Youens enjoys flying as a private pilot, reading apologetics, especially the works of CS Lewis, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and their three daughters.
